Resources for Nonprofits Impacted by COVID-19

 

      • The Center for Lifelong Learning at Columbia Theological Seminary provides for church professionals and lay people non-degree courses and events—opportunities to learn with and from others for faithful discipleship. Residential programs and courses have been cancelled through June 30. Online courses will continue as scheduled. Click here for courses starting in July. These include a certificate course in spiritual direction, Henri Nouwen’s spiritual writing and ministry, centering prayer, storytelling as a tool for change, and much more.
      • As your worshiping community implements shelter-in-place worship and practices physical isolation, the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship offers resources to help you plan and cope in ways that encourage and support your community. Visit worship.calvin.edu.
      • TechSoup is committed to equipping nonprofits with the resources they need to meet their mission, serve the community, and support the staff. They’ve created a resource hub designed to support nonprofits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit the site to learn more.
      • Georgians for a Healthy Future provides important information about what to do if you experience symptoms of covid-19, and what to expect from health insurance, no insurance, and Medicaid link
      • Partners for HOME, the Atlanta Homeless Continuum-of-Care, is seeking peer support specialists to support their work with clients in isolation units, experiencing homelessness.  If you are a peer support professional or have staff that can assist, please contact here.
      • CSH has developed a dedicated website to help supportive housing providers with Covid-19 resources,  CSH link.
