The mission.

Interfaith Atlanta promotes understanding, respect, prayer, interaction and unity among the diverse faiths in the greater Atlanta region. We advance the influence of voices of the faith communities for the common good.

The work.

The Interfaith Speakers Network (ISN), an educational program under Interfaith Atlanta, offers interactive panels featuring representatives from six major faith traditions—Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Sikhism—to promote dialogue and understanding across religions. Moderated by certified facilitators, these panels include presentations and Q&A sessions, highlighting how different faiths can work together.

Faith In Action unites members of diverse faith communities across Metro Atlanta in monthly service projects with local non-profits, promoting shared values of fairness, kindness, and equality. By volunteering together on initiatives like food pantries and urban gardens, participants build stronger interfaith connections, fostering unity and contributing to a more equitable world.

Participants will engage in dialogue, build relationships, and develop action plans to serve as ambassadors of interfaith relations in their communities.

Interfaith Atlanta Youth (IAY) connects and unites teens 8th graders through 12th graders across Atlanta of diverse backgrounds and communities. IAY empowers our youth to appreciate our differences, have empathy and understanding for each other, engage in dialogue and to work together to create a future for ourselves and others.

Atlanta’s annual Interfaith Fall Festival brings together diverse faith communities to foster cooperation, dialogue, and understanding. This event offers fun activities like learning how to wrap a turban, Bollywood dancing, and musical performances, while providing opportunities to learn from various faith institutions and organizations across Atlanta. Through these experiences, the festival encourages deeper connections, mutual respect, and collective efforts toward a more inclusive and harmonious community.

Annual Interfaith Festival

Each year, Interfaith Atlanta gathers the community to celebrate and uplift the universal theme of "light," a symbol that shines through many of our winter holiday traditions. This celebration serves as a time to reflect on our shared hopes for a better and brighter future as we prepare for the year ahead. By focusing on the light that unites us across different faiths, we embrace the collective desire for a world filled with hope, love, and understanding.
